Born in rural Quebec, Dostie is a filmmaker, poet and playwriter. His short films, Mutants (2016), I’ll End Up In Jail (2019) and BOA (2025), screened at festivals around the world, including Locarno, Sundance and Clermont-Ferrand. He has won several awards, notably at the Iris Awards for Quebec Cinema, the Canadian Screen Awards, and the Toronto International Film Festival. Dostie is currently working on his first feature film.
