Biography

Christian Linaban is one of the pioneers of the Cebuano Cinema New Wave through his production company Panumduman Pictures which has produced "Ang Damgo Ni Eleuteria"; "Di Ingon 'Nato"; "Miss Bulalalcao"; and critically acclaimed short films such as "Ang Gugma Ni Olivia", "Doktora", and "To Siomai Love". He won the Ishmael Bernal Award for Young Cinema at 2010's Cinemanila International Film Festival and the 2011 Gawad Urian Best Cinematography for "Ang Damgo Ni Eleuteria". As a director, he's made 2 feature films: the time-bending "Aberya" and the first Filipino stoner film "SUPERPSYCHOCEBU". He's also done work for TV, ads, AVPs, and music videos. When he isn't behind the camera, he creates and performs music under various outfits.
