Emily McMehen

Emily McMehen is an artist, writer, director and producer from Toronto Canada. Her first film was shot as a part of her MFA at Goldsmiths College, University of London, in 2001 entitled "Birthday". She has made films in Mongolia, Haiti, Mexico, Afghanistan and the UK, where she continues to live and work. She is a part of the PhD program in Fine Art at Goldsmiths College, University of London. She has exhibited film and video work internationally, including as part of the Venice Biennale, the Ghetto Biennale, at Cannes Film Festival and Oberhausen Kurzfilmtage. She has been the creative director at Mazibel Productions since 2009.
