- Scott was asked to composed the entire score to Tora (2010) featuring David Suzuki but 1 day before delivering the final score, Rick Horrocks the original composer and close friend of directors Wendy Ord, Glen Samuel agreed to finally score the film and the directors went with their original plan leaving Scott's complete score untouched.
- As part of his composition degree, Scott Studied credits in World Music at the University of Cyprus in the summer of 2015.
- Scott Has his own off grid mobile recording studio on a small sailing ship powered by solar power.
- Scott made a deal with the West Coast symphony to record them once a week for a year. They got the recordings, and he was able to test and master many new recording techniques such as the Multiple Mid Side mics, and upwards floor mics; never brought to life by most studios due to time restrictions in major studio recordings.
- Scott once studied orchestration with Conrad Pope in Viena, Austria.
