Amy was raised in Tallahassee, FL by Jill and Gary Elmore. She attended Leon High School.
Entered her first contest for Seventeen Magazine in 1987 which she did not win.
She re-entered the contest in 1988 and won the cover photo of Seventeen Magazine for the October 1988 issue over 170,000 other 17 year old young women.
She was a model for several major agencies appearing in dozens of magazines for 12 years. For example: Cosmopolitan, French Elle, Modern Bride and many others.
She was the lead character in a short video entitled "Crazy for You" by F.C. Rabbath.
Had an uncredited appearance in Oliver Stone's "Nixon" as Henry Kissinger's date.
She is SAG eligible while honing her acting skills in Ivana Chubback's Advanced Class in Los Angeles.
