Christian MacDonald is a BAFTA New Talent-nominated Canadian screenwriter, director, editor and musician from Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. He is best known as the writer and director of the critically acclaimed short films Anna (2016) and When You’re Gone (2012). His work has screened at international film festivals and has been broadcast nationally in Canada on CBC Television. He has worked across film and the arts for more than 15 years.
