Biography

Tre' Michaels was born the in Chicago land area. She started dancing at age 4, singing and acting at age 9, where she succeeded in obtaining lead roles in plays. She also had an acting coach at the early age of 8 and trained later in life with Second City (Chicago) under Josephine Forsberg. She found that she felt most comfortable when she was acting and entertaining people.

She comes from a family with extensive experience in entertainment. Her grandmother was in Vaudeville, and she was part of a a Vaudeville family. She also had other family members that had the directing, acting and dancing bug. They went on to direct and act in many movies. One of her family members directed a lot of the early John Wayne movies.

Also, known for singing gospel, country and blues. She was previously the lead vocalist for couple years in a country blues band. She grew up singing not just in theater.

She has been known to write her own music and also poetry.
