While at Spence, Ashley was accepted to Yale and after only spending eight months there, she decided to postpone her University studies and focus on acting and performing full-time. Immediately she landed the lead in a television show, where she played a bounty hunter. It was her first lead role in this TV series show that would lead her to earn her pertinent entry into SAG. After earning her SAG card Ashley moved to West Hollywood. Since then, she has starred and appeared in over 38 science fiction, horror films, daytime series and TV appearances as well as appeared as a guest on several talk shows and prime time comedies.

In a never ending pursuit of knowledge, Ashley continuously finds herself enrolled in studies and certifications. Ashley has completed many workshops, certifications and teacher trainings in conjunction with Integrative Healing strategies, Yoga Works, The Institute for Advancement for Human Behavior and Omega Institute for Holistic Studies.

Despite Ashley's background in dance and gymnastics, she found her very first Yoga class on October 31, 2006 in Hollywood, California, to be non- stimulating. Ashley found that lying still and not moving while breathing deeply frustrated her. She walked out after 13 minutes and never gave thought to returning. What she did not know at the time, was that there were many different types of Yoga, and what she was searching for, was sweat, discipline and hard work. In October of 2013, when asked to audition and be a part of a DVD workout series for one of TV reality's biggest stars, Jillian Michaels along with her team of experts, she was introduced to Power Yoga Vinyasa Flow and Karma Yoga.
