Biography

Bright is a screen actor who hails from Malaysia and Singapore. He is a regular face on numerous television series, and commercials in Singapore for the past 15 years.

In his career, he has had the fortune of handling both the commercial and the artistically independent. Best known for his ability to play multiple types of roles, it is his physicality and movement from years of movement training and martial arts that has become his specialization in screen work. He has featured in many different genres across the board, from serious dramas to comedies. And his advertisement and commercial portfolio is as equally well rounded.

He also happens to be a puppetry creative, and has done a wide breadth of screen puppetry work for ads, series, and movies in Asia.

Off camera, he is also a theatrical performance-maker; having spearheaded numerous projects across a spectrum of genres; from re-imagining the performance delivery of traditional Asian and classical Western music, to the combination of movement work and puppetry. Bright has collaborated with many esteemed companies and organizations around the world. His portfolio of work spans across different fields within the performing arts, and has spanned globally for over a decade.

Bright speaks several languages, and is often found outdoors climbing rock faces, surfing, and trekking through hot and humid terrain when he is off work.
