Biography

In 2003 the critical and indie box office success of "Pieces of April" proved to Michael that with great casting and writing a great movie could be made with a video technology already available to the prosumer. He set out on a 5-year plan to leave his position as a M&A IT project management specialist at a fortune 100 company to pursuit his passion for visual storytelling. After starting a small Production company in Greenpoint Brooklyn and cutting his teeth on numerous shorts and music videos he Executive produced his first feature film "Love Stalker" in 2011. (shot entirely on the Canon 5d Mii). The project was groundbreaking in its low-budget ambitions an was able to turn a small profit. Michael would focus his attention on building his skills as a DP and producer over the next 8 years as he worked on honing a first feature script of his own. Successfully landing commercial clients including Google and SiriusXM allowed Michael to Produce and co-write his second feature "Lost Cos" (began in 2019 Delayed due to Covid until 20023) Over his career Michael has directed, written, lensed or produced 35 short films, 9 music videos, 14 commercial spots, and 2 feature films. His next project as Writer\Director is a feature "Line of Totality" scheduled to begin shooting in August 2024.
