Biography

American actress Julia Kristin Brooks was born in the small town of Hastings, Michigan. She is the eldest daughter to Michael and Connie Brooks. As a child Julia was a professional model, working for name brand companies such as Axe, Sunsilk, Slimfast and more. Julia left home at 18 to pursue an acting career, moving to Dallas Texas and enrolling in KD College Conservatory of Film and Dramatic Arts. While she was completing her Applied Arts Degree Julia worked vigorously in many student films and local theater earning her exceptional praise and recognition. After graduation Julia moved to Los Angeles to further her career. She is best known as the powerful and cynical salesperson Abby in "The Office" (2017) and the hilarious little sister in "Karen and Roger" (2017). She received her greatest acclaim as Ashley in the short film "Crossroads" (2017) which was also written by Julia. She is currently continuing her curriculum at The Groundlings and is walking in the footsteps of some of the greatest comedians in Hollywood history. Julia is engaged to Paul Karpf, son of award winning screenwriter Elinor Karpf (1939-2013).
