Biography

Born on October 3rd 1988 in Lisbon, Portugal, Sara started her studies at Chapitô, where she had classes in multiple fields such as acting, music, voice and speech, circus, acrobatics and more.

She took part in several Workshops such as Voice and Singing with Sara Belo, Mime with Gardi Hutter and Physical Theatre with John Mowat. Her professional experience includes an internship with Jorge Listopad as a director's assistant and actress. She has been working with Artistas Unidos since 2006 where she was directed by Jorge Silva Melo and Francisca Aarflot; She has worked with Bica Teatro and Animoforma as a producer and entertainer and also has a Masterclass in Commedia Dell' Arte coached by Carlo Boso. In 2009 Sara had her debut in Cinema with the film "Escrever, Escrever, Viver" about the award winning writer António Lobo Antunes, directed by Solveig Nordlund. She is part of the film selection jury at Arroios Film Festival in Lisbon. She works as an actress and producer in Skookum Films since 2012 where she has been involved in several projects with director Nuno Sá Pessoa.

As a Freelancer she develops many projects as an Actress, Performer and Producer.
