- Michael Jolls is a director and producer who has created a body of work in the genres of satire and documentary. His feature-length works include The Great Chicago Filmmaker (2014); the Chicago history documentary Holy Ground (2023); and the terrorism documentary The Response (2026).
Jolls is the author of The Films of Ron Howard (2024); Make Hollywood Great Again (2020) and The Films of Steven Spielberg (2018), and was co-author to Rev. William Netstraeter (2019), and assistant editor on David Fincher: Interviews (2014).
