- Charla Bocchicchio is a versatile film and television actress known for her emotionally grounded performances and warm, relatable presence. With a natural ability to balance quiet strength and vulnerability, she has become a go-to performer in heartfelt dramas, romantic comedies, and family-friendly films.
Charla has appeared in over 100 film and television projects, including supporting roles in major productions like Yellowstone, Echo Boomers, The Chosen, and HBO's Mosaic. She is especially known for her work in holiday and romantic films, with credits in Check Inn to Christmas, Prescription for Love, Love in Focus, Love, Fall & Order, Holly and Ivy.
Her training includes scene study and cold reading at Anthony Meindl's Actor Workshop (AMAW), improvisation at Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) in Los Angeles, and commercial and on-camera technique with Judy Kain at Keep It Real Acting.
With strong comedic timing honed through improv, Charla brings authenticity and charm to both lighthearted and dramatic roles. Her performances have earned her several acting awards, most recently for Love in Focus and Jump Seat.
Born in Illinois and raised in Idaho and Utah, Charla spent 16 years of her adult life in Birmingham, AL and then several in Los Angeles. Now back in Salt Lake City, she is SAG-eligible and actively working in both regional and national productions.
When she's not on set, Charla enjoys yoga, hiking, and storytelling that uplifts, inspires, and entertains.

- Charla has 2 tattoos. One on her right wrist and consists of the word "Breathe" with a hummingbird. She got it in 2015 along with her husband, who got the same thing. The second is a delicate butterfly above her inner left ankle, a memorial to her daughter, Cassidy.
- Charla is a published author with a new memoir. My New Normal: A Mother's Story of Love and Loss in the Opioid Epidemic. Published in November 11. 2019, exactly three years after her daughter died from a drug overdose.
- Charla lost her only child, 22 year old daughter Cassidy Aspen Cochran on Nov. 11, 2016 to a fentanyl overdose. Charla has become an advocate in sharing her story to stop the stigma in hopes of helping to change the way society looks at Substance Use Disorder.

- Charla became a widow on May 19, 2023, when her beloved husband, John Bocchicchio took his own life after battling chronic pain and a multitude of medical issues for years and years. She is shattered with this loss as John was the greatest love of her life.
