Verena Mueller (or Müller) is a bilingual (German/English) actor known for having worked equally as much on stage as on screen, in both languages.
Verena's diverse work includes roles on famous long-running German procedural crime series Crime Scene (Tatort) and Vienna Crime Squad (Soko Donau), being broadcast in Germany, Austria and Switzerland;
A lead role in Making of Barricades (London International Motion Picture Awards official selection;
And the comic relief in a production of Punktchen & Anton at Vienna's Theater Akzent.
Verena's range as a screen actor is best demonstrated by the ease which she inhabits such diverse characters as a high-level business executive, a wise caregiver, or a nonchalant rebel lover.
Verena was born and raised in Vienna, Austria. She discovered her passion for acting while living and attending schools in California. After her stint in the U.S., she pursued training at the Actors Workshop Vienna. Having started out in theater, she has worked on stages in Santa Barbara, in her hometown of Vienna and in castles in Germany and Austria. Verena has always acted on screen as well.
Verena used to own a horse since she was a child and is an avid horse rider in all fields, and found a new passion in horse-carriage-driving. Her native accent is American and she is often mistaken for one. She can also do an American Southern or British accent, variations of German or Austrian accented English and she speaks French on a conversational level. Verena is based in Vienna and has an EU passport.
Since continuous training has always been a part of her acting work, Verena regularly attends scene study classes at TIAS - The International Acting Studio, accent classes and other workshops regularly. Being one to not wait around for opportunities, Verena also founded her own theater company for female-driven-English-theater where she produced and acted in all their productions. She also wrote a screenplay and produced a few short films from it.
