- Frederik Füssel is an award winning Producer, Writer, Director and Cinematographer. He began his career in 1992 at ABC TV Austria and has since worked across more than 50 countries for cinema and television. He earned a Master of Arts in Film and TV Production from Danube University Krems with distinction. In 2001 he founded FMproductions and produced more than 150 episodes of the music TV show "Volume" (2001-2007), featuring guests including Metallica, Nickelback, The Hives and Red Hot Chili Peppers. In 2008 he founded Filmstadt Baden, a film studio with sound stages, Austria’s biggest green screen and post production facilities, and has taught cinematography and film production at the Film School since 2008. His work has received international festival recognition and awards, including "Singing for Life" which won the Prix Italia Special Prize (Turin, 2011) and received an award at the Sole Luna Doc Film Festival in Palermo (2012) and Indiefest (2012). "Dead River" (2012) became a multi award winner at the Namibian Theatre and Film Awards. "Frosch, Schenkel und Prinzen" (2017), which received international festival awards including AFC Global Fest and Mostra Cinema Taranto. "Iron Khan" received major festival recognition with Official Selection at Dharamshala International Film Festival (2020) and PIMFF (2020, Pakistan), IFFS (India, 2021), won best Documentary at the Kashmir International Film and Culture Festival (2020), and RIFF Winner Best Documentary Feature Film (2020) and was screened in the international competition at the Iranian International Film Festival (2019). "People of War", filmed during the war in Ukraine, earned nominations at Riverside International Film Festival (2023) and Film Fest International London (2023), including Best Director of a Feature Documentary and Best Documentary Feature. "A Town Called Purgatory" received international nominations and festival recognition, including awards at the Garden State Film Festival (2024) and the Creature Feature Weekend Film Festival (2024), and further nominations at Philadelphia FirstGlance Film Festival (2024) and Terror in the Bay Film Festival (2024). Further feature films include "Hopped Up", "White Screech", "Devil Devil Devil", "To the other Shoreline", and "The Perfect Pick up".
