Tamara Ruppart was born and raised in New York City. She is mostly of Alsatian descent. She was educated at a Waldorf School through high school, attended Davidson College (Theater), and received her MFA from The New School for Drama (Directing).
Having traveled in India, Germany, England, Scotland, Wales, China, France and lived/worked in Japan, Tamara is particularly excited to build cultural bridges through storytelling, especially stories focusing on women and children.
