Biography

Narain Karthikeyan was born on January 14, 1977 in Madras, Tamil Nadu, India.

Ex-Formula One racing driver, who raced for: Jordan (2005 (19 GPs)), Hispania (2011 (8 GPs)-2012 (19 GPs)). He started 46 Grands and 5 Points. Best ranked in the World Championship: 18th in 2005.

2005 Australian Grand Prix, Narain Karthikeyan became the first Indian driver to race in Formula 1 and 2005 United States Grand Prix, Narain Karthikeyan finished 4th place (5 points) and he became the first Indian to score Formula 1 points.

Teammates in Formula One were: Tiago Monteiro, Vitantonio Liuzzi, Daniel Ricciardo and Pedro de la Rosa.
