Michael Ehlers is a Chicago-based actor known for his work in Chicago P.D. (NBC) and the Netflix anthology series Monster: The Ed Gein Story. His film credits include A Demon Within and Just Like a Woman. A veteran of the stage, Michael has appeared in Broadway and international touring productions of Cats, Evita, Chess, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat to name a few. He has performed in countless regional productions, most notably as Wilbur in Hairspray, Herbie in Gypsy and most recently The Importance of Being Earnest. His dramatic range was further cemented in the Pulitzer-winning Side Man, where critics described his performance as having a "Zen-like luminosity" and being "devastatingly reduced."
