Biography

Christian Calabrese is a graduate of MSU-Moorhead with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Film Production, with a minor in Theatre Arts. For the past decade, he's been self-employed as a Director of Photography, Camera Operator, and AC on Cinema, Television, Commercial, Documentary, Industrial, and Corporate Projects across the Midwest and surrounding regions. Fluent in the language of Silent Film and a lover of low-budget Independent Productions, Christian's particular interest is in visual storytelling expressed via the delicate intersection of action, pace, and tone - the magic within the mundane - and bolstering unique voices too often excluded from mainstream Hollywood paradigms.
