Biography

F. Michael Haynie was born on January 30, 1986 in Macon, Georgia, USA. He is an actor, known for Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert (2018), Not Fade Away (2012) and Peter Pan Live! (2014).

He was cast as Quasimodo in the Broadway try out of "The Hunchback of Notre Dame". The show never made it to Broadway. F. Michael Haynie previously played Boq in "Wicked".

He is best known for his role as Augustus Gloop in "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". The musical opened on April 23, 2017 and closed on January 14, 2018. By the time "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" closed the show had 27 previews and 305 performances.

I found out about it when they asked me to audition. I thought my agents were messing with me. I asked my girlfriend if she knew anything about it because she had seen the show in London. She thought it was a bad idea to cast adults because the kids were so great. But I went in, I thought either they will like me or they won't like me. It was a casting office that I loved (Telsey) and it was a fun group of people, no one I ever worked with before. I did my audition and then had a callback.
