Tania Leon was born on May 14, 1943 in Havana, Cuba. She is known for The Sensual Nature of Sound: 4 Composers Laurie Anderson, Tania Leon, Meredith Monk, Pauline Oliveros (1993), Lico Jimenez the Ebony Liszt and CBS Mornings (2021).

Pianist, composer, conductor, teacher, and Kennedy Center honoree.
