- Michael is a cinematographer and gaffer based in Spokane, Washington. Michael is also the manager of Shutterworks Rentals Spokane, the premiere equipment rental house for photography shoots and video productions in the Spokane area. He has been active in cinematography for 20 years, and still photography for 30 years.
He is a graduate of the world-renowned Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California. He has specialized expertise in high-speed stop-action photography, high-speed video, and Ansel Adams’ Zone System. He has shot alongside several National Geographic photographers, as well as Thomas Mangelsen, one of the best wildlife photographers and conservationists alive. He has worked with Kathy Ireland, Mark Walhburg, Sean Astin, Joe Lo Truglio, Dylan Baker, James Duval, DJ Qualls, and golf-legend Arnold Palmer.

- In his free time, Michael develops photographs he took using 4x5" black and white film. He hand prints them in the darkroom on silver gelatin fiber-based paper.
- Michael picked up a baby rattle snake when he was just 18 months old while living in southern California.
