- Mark Kindred grew up as an immigrant in the projects. He graduated from Harvard University with a degree in philosophy. He is a Sundance Screenwriting and Directing Lab fellow and a recipient of a Sundance Institute Feature Program grant. His short film America premiered at the SXSW Film Festival. Kindred has written feature screenplays for Amazon Studios and Searchlight Pictures and is currently developing his directorial debut with Cross Creek Pictures.
