Janlatae' Mullins is an award winning writer, producer and freelance director based in Atlanta, GA. Janlatae' directs narrative short films, music videos, promos and branded content. She is commercially represented by BARK BARK. Some of her branded content have included collaborations with brands and networks such as FOX, Paramount Pictures, Bravo, Focus Features, Hershey's, Discovery Family and OWN. Her short films have won numerous awards including Best Director at The Black Women in Film Festival in 2015 and Best Screenplay in 2018.
Her latest film "Soul Fire", recently won the grand prize for the Jack Daniels Real to Reel short film competition in association with Code Black Entertainment, TV One and The American Black Film Festival. The film was produced by Nina Marinov and Nick Dimondi and Executive Produced by star Maxie McClintock. Jan has also directed dance films as well as some promotional spots for the award winning show "Queen Sugar" on OWN. Jan is a true believer in the power of collaboration.
