Rashad Ullah

Rashad Ullah is a Bengali-American vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and composer based in Washington, DC and New Haven, CT. His music-making ranges from Western art music (especially early music and Baroque) to Hindustani classical music. As a Western choral singer, he has performed with the Berkshire Bach Society and Yale Collegium Musicum. As an Indian musician, he has performed with Nootana, SAPAN Institute, and as an accompanist for his guru Samia Ahmad. Rashad Ullah has composed scores for two films by Harjant Gill. He is also a researcher and adjunct professor in linguistics and cognitive science.
