Baker Wiles was born to Richard E. Wiles Jr., a pilot, former stage actor, and proprietor of several drive-in movie theaters, and Janet Baker, a restaurateur, artist, and live event producer. He is an actor and producer known for a featured scene on Young Sheldon (CBS) opposite lead Iain Armitage, a scene on Immoral Compass (Roku) opposite Dave Dastmalchian, and a guest appearance on This Is Us (NBC) opposite Milo Ventimiglia. He also appears in a featured courtroom scene in Netflix's Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, and played a private jet pilot on Paramount+'s The Offer. He spent five years as stand-in for James Corden on The Late Late Show with James Corden (CBS), rehearsing camera blocking for Carpool Karaoke, Crosswalk the Musical, and primetime specials, and appeared on camera in a featured skit as well as a body double for Corden. Wiles has also stood in for Josh Gad on Marvel's Wonder Man, Patrick Gallo (as Mario Puzo) on The Offer, Frank Coraci on Sandy Wexler (dir. Steve Brill, Happy Madison), Kevin Weisman on Marvel's Runaways, and Guillermo Díaz on Scandal. He earned praise for his performance in the feature film The Education of a Negro and co-starred in Storyteller, an award-winning short drama directed by Emmy winner Jacopo Campaiola. On television, Wiles subbed for T-Pain as "The Monster" on The Masked Singer (FOX) during Season 1.
As executive producer of Sunny Daze, an independent feature written and directed by Jason Wiles (90210, Third Watch) and starring Golden Globe winner Michael Beach and This Is Us child star Lonnie Chavis, Wiles helped secure meetings with potential film distributors during the film's streaming release. Sunny Daze won Best Heartland Narrative at the Kansas City Film Festival International and was an official selection at Dances With Films and the SOHO Film Festival.
Wiles began performing at age 11, when he was cast as Billy Ray Jr. in On Golden Pond, directed by Jack Reuller, his first professional show, alongside professional Equity actors from Minneapolis performing at Theatre L'Homme Dieu, a summer stock theater in his hometown of Alexandria, Minnesota. He continued performing in community and school theater before moving into film and television. He is a member of SAG-AFTRA, AEA, and IATSE Local PWG 111. He is represented across the board by Rina Zaide at So Cal Talent, a SAG-AFTRA franchised talent agency.
