Biography

Alexandru Floroiu is an actor, trainer, project manager, artistic agent, cultural entrepreneur, and the President of the Actors' Guild.

He graduated in 2011 with a degree in Public Administration from the University of Bucharest. In 2013, he completed his studies in Performing Arts - Acting at Hyperion University in Bucharest, under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mihai Malaimare and Assistant Prof. Anamaria Pislaru. In 2022, he earned a Master's degree in Theater Studies from the University of Arts in Targu-Mures, specializing in Artistic Management.

Throughout his career, he has collaborated with both public cultural institutions such as Masca Theatre, "Tudor Vianu" Theatre from Giurgiu, The Comic Opera for Children, ARCUB, as well as independent theaters and companies, including Miniricii, Mezzetino, Vasilache Theatre, Amphitheatrrom Cultural Association, In Culise Theatre, Godot Theatre, and Podul Student Theatre. He has performed in over 1000 productions in Romania and abroad and has participated in numerous festivals and tours, including those in Serbia, Austria, Bulgaria, Italy, and the Republic of Moldova. Currently, he is an actor at Nottara Theatre, Stela Popescu Theatre, and InDArt Theatre.

Alexandru has also played roles in TV series, short films, music videos, and commercials. In 2015, he won the award for Best Leading Actor in the Erasmus+ project "movIeT," organized by the P.O.D. Association in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain.

He holds certificates in entrepreneurial competencies, public administration, cultural education (theater), and artistic management, issued by the Ministry of Culture and the National Institute for Cultural Research and Training.

In 2014, he founded the Actors' Guild, based in Bucharest, and in 2016, he established the Actor's Guild Association in Moinesti, Bacau County. Over the years, he has been involved in various cultural projects, including theater productions, event organization, workshops, artistic creation camps, tours, and festivals. Some of the notable projects include the non-formal education program FTA - Film and Theater Academy, the Teen MOVIE CAMP, the Art Festival "Teatru sub Luna" Moinesti, and the "Play on Hills" Summer Season.

Since 2021, Alexandru has been representing artists from both Romania and abroad as the founder of the Talent Management and Artistic Agency, "Fellow Talents Agency," powered by the Actors' Guild.

In 2022, he received a Certificate of Excellence from the Mayor of Moinesti, Valentin Vieru, in recognition of his dedication and tenacity in organizing numerous beneficial projects and events for the community in Moinesti.
