Biography

Thomas Walker upcoming Cinematographer and Steadicam Operator grew up in Western Canada and graduated from the Art Institute of Vancouver.

Filming extreme sports from a young age set his direction to Film and TV Productions. He has worked on a variety of high level productions in the camera department such as Deadpool, Planet of the Apes and Star Trek. Thomas uses his technical curiosity in other realms such as 3d printing, manufacturing and film photography to assist him in his cinematography, creating custom camera and lighting rigs or a simple gadget to create imaginative shots that are normally out of reach to most productions. He constantly challenges himself to create a new look to compliment each project to stand out from the last. Cinematography allows him to express his technical skills creatively. Thomas thrives in finding a creative solution to a problem before it even exists.
