Biography

B. Donald Grant was born on February 7, 1932 in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. He was a producer, known for I Love Lucy: The Very First Show (1990), Girl's Best Friend (1994) and Don't Touch That Dial (1982). He died on July 1, 2011 in Newport Beach, California, USA.

When he was at CBS when he moved away from NBC in 1972, he was responsible for scrapping reruns of nighttime hits (The Lucy Show (1962), The Beverly Hillbillies (1962), My Three Sons (1960)) in favor of picking up three game shows for the first time since the network disappeared in 1968 (The Joker's Wild (1972), The Price Is Right (1972) and Gambit (1972)).
