Biography

Elena Weinberg is a Los Angeles-based Line Producer, 1st Assistant Director, and Production Coordinator with over a decade of experience spanning branded content, scripted narrative, and independent features. Known for her sharp logistical mind and creative intuition, Elena brings a calm, solutions-oriented presence to every set.

Elena began her film career in Austin, Texas, where she co-founded the production company TurtleDove Films. There, she produced more than a dozen short films, a web series, and the feature A Room Full of Nothing, which premiered at the Austin Film Festival and was distributed by 1091 Pictures. This early work earned her a reputation for resourceful, high-quality filmmaking and deep collaborative spirit.

After relocating to Los Angeles, Elena spent four years at goodr sunglasses as the lead producer for their in-house content team. In this role, she managed hundreds of commercial and branded shoots-from concept to post-production-leading cross-functional teams and streamlining production workflows for photo and video content in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Elena now freelances full-time as a producer and 1st AD, working across both commercial and narrative projects. Her recent credits include collaborations with BET Entertainment, NBCUniversal, Wallybird Productions, Veteran Made Productions, and a range of emerging indie directors. In addition to her production work, she is developing her first feature screenplay and remains actively involved in the filmmaking community as a script reader, festival screener for SXSW and Cucalorus, and event manager for the ATX TV Festival.
