  • Demetria earned her Bachelor's degree in Theatre from Grand Valley State University, and her MFA from the University of Houston. After completing a turn as a Journeyman at The Warehouse Theatre in Greenville, SC, Demetria relocated to Chicago. Chicago credits include Tawanda in Live Bait's production of "Love Child," Cass in Stage Left's production of "Burying the Bones," and Erica in MPAACT's "The Divine Order of Becoming," for which she received a Joseph Jefferson Citation for Best Actress, and most recently Dakota in "Softly Blue." Regional credits: Mrs. Muller in "Doubt" at New Stage Theater," Medea" at Warehouse Theater, Mistress Ford in "Merry Wives of Windsor" and Phoebe in "As You Like It" both at Illinois Shakespeare Festival, and Helena in "Midsummer Night's Dream" at Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival. Demetria is represented by Paonessa Talent and serves as Literary Manager for MPAACT Theater in Chicago.
