Biography

Nika Kocharov - Musician, Singer, Song-writer and producer - is best known as front man of Young Georgian Lolitaz, the biggest band of early 2000 in Georgia. Nika plays guitar, bass guitar, drums and keyboard.

Nika started his musical career at the age of 15 when he formed his first band "Nadzvis Khe". At the age of 19 he started another band "Nebo CCCR" with Kote Kalandadze. In 2001, Nika formed "Young Georgian Lolitaz", the most successful band of the decade in Georgia, YGL released 2 albums. In 2005, Young Georgian Lolitaz have been nominated for band of the year, their song "Star" was the track of the year. In 2006, Nika left for London and his band got signed with 4REAL Records. Nika has played in many festivals alongside with band like: Therapy? Morcheeba and bloodhound gang. During his career Nika had worked on many soundtracks, his music for "Post Punk" (George Maskharashvili) has won an award.
