Amaris L. Samuel is a Detroit Native. She grew up on the SW side of Detroit. She fell in love with acting through poetry. She was very quiet as a child so she wrote stories and poetry to express herself. Amaris comes from a family of artist and entertainers and her fathers mother Elsie Hood Samuel was first cousins with Barry Gordy. She has shared the stage with Kenny Latimore, Tamika Scott. She has starred in and led a show on Amazon Prime
