- Brought up in a tiny fishing village off the coast of Maine, Wes Hopper was raised on stories of the surreal and supernatural. By seventh grade, he had already read most of the works of local author Stephen King. Wes's award-winning horror film, Detox, was an official selection at the Seattle International Film Festival in 2024 and screened at over twenty festivals worldwide. He has been hired to write pilots and features for numerous companies, including Patrick Dempsey's Shifting Gears. Most recently, his horror feature script, RUNE, was optioned by Broken Meteor. Wes currently lives in Brooklyn, NY.
