Biography

Adam B. Shapiro was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. He is an actor, known for The Normal Heart (2014), The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2017) and Master of None (2015).

In addition to acting, Adam is also an award winning singer and cabaret performer. He won the 2013 MAC Award for Musical Comedy performer of the year for his show "Guide to the Perfect Breakup". In 2021, he released his debut EP "Let Love In".

A graduate of Ball State University in Muncie IN.

Born in Indianapolis IN and attended North Central High School.

Adam is an experienced stage actor in both English and Yiddish. He was the understudy for Tevye and Lazer Wolf in "Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish" Off Broadway and has worked extensively with the National Yiddish Theater Folksbiene (despite growing up with no exposure to Yiddish and only beginning to learn it when he was cast by NYTF for the first time).
