Joey Tufaro is an American Producer who is best known for producing Kidnap (2017) and Maggie.(2015). He Co-Founded Gold Star Films, which was set up with the sole purpose of increasing film production in Louisiana. He currently resides in New Orleans and is actively pursuing several film projects.
Work History- After a successful 20+ year career as a Real Estate Developer and a brief stint of owning minority interest in several car dealerships; Joey turned his sights on learning and understanding how Hollywood finances independent films. His past financial experience, college degrees, combined with his general business acumen made it a natural fit for him to become a producer when his home state of Louisiana initiated State Film Tax Credits.
