Biography

Jimmy Boratyn is an award-winning filmmaker from Chicago whose work spans feature films, documentaries, and series based content.

He produced and directed the feature film Ginger, which won multiple international Best Picture and Best Director awards and is streaming on Tubi, Vudu, Amazon Prime Video, and Sling TV. Jimmy is currently producing and directing the docu-series Signs, Superstitions, and God's Plan - The Human Quest for Meaning and is the Editor and Producer of the feature-length documentary IV: Our Lives.

Since 2011, Jimmy has led Shot Time Productions, Inc., creating hundreds of films and marketing projects for clients across industries. In addition to his production work, he teaches film courses to undergraduate and graduate students as adjunct faculty at DePaul University's School of Cinematic Arts, where he brings professional filmmaking experience into the classroom.
