Sandra Doolittle and her coach Donald Leigh Good were recipients of the Oregon Peace Officer's Association Life Saving Award.

Was a law enforcement officer and supervisor for 18 years before becoming an actor and filmmaker. Taught several disciplines for her agency, nearby jurisdictions, and the state police academy. Offers services as a weapons master and law enforcement consultant to film and video productions.

First commercial job was as talent in an ad for the Blockbuster Store in Bend, Oregon, which as of 2018 was the only remaining Blockbuster in operation in the entire United States.

Is a published poet, does painting and stitchery, carves wood, and throws pots. She once threw a pot on the wheel with her bare feet.

Before becoming a police officer, Doolittle had hoped to pursue training in archaeology.
