Érick Ismael is a Mexican film producer, director, and composer from León, Guanajuato. He directed the horror feature The Nation and produced La Niña de la Mina (2016) and Ella y el Candidato (2011). He also served as financial director on the acclaimed film El Estudiante (2009). Alongside his film career, he is an active singer-songwriter, releasing original music that blends emotional pop with cinematic storytelling. He is also the lead vocalist of the progressive metal band Gnosys.
