Kosta Kondilopoulos

Kosta Kondilopoulos is a Canadian screenwriter known for "The Perfect Gamble" (2025), a tale about an ex-con butting heads with the Russian mob while running an underground casino in Georgia; "Mob Cops" (2025) inspired by the true story of two decorated NYPD detectives who become the mob's most valued hitmen; "Inside Man" (2023) tells the story a demoted detective who is given the opportunity to go undercover in order to take down a ruthless killer working for the mafia, also inspired by true events; "The Engineer" (2023) follows the largest manhunt in the history of Israel to find Yahya Ayyash, the mastermind bomb maker who terrorized the country in the mid 1990s. His first feature "I Love Us" (2021) tells the story of a thief struggling to trade his criminal ways for the married life after he falls in love with a single mother. He has also worked as an additional screenwriter on "Bardejov" (2024) the true story of a Rabbi fighting to save the young girls of his town from being taken to a concentration camp during World War II. He currently has two films set to release in 2026, "12 Hours in October" which follows four separate storylines during the harrowing events of October 7 and "The Frequency of Fear" which tells the story of the elaborately orchestrated pager attacks in Lebanon in 2023. He is currently (2025) working on his ninth collaboration with director Danny A. Abeckaser.
