Amber Sharma

Amber Sharma, popularly known as Mowgli Baba, is an Indian filmmaker, director, producer and author. He has been working in the film and television industry for more than two decades. His work includes documentaries, factual and travel shows, television commercials, feature films and other non-fiction projects. Amber has worked on productions in India as well as internationally, including American feature films and documentary projects. He is the founder of Mowgli Productions and the creator of the Hideaways documentary series. As an author, Sharma has written true-crime non-fiction books, including Operation Chachajaan and Crime Lords Trail: Bombay to Bangkok. His interest in crime, investigation and real-life stories also connects with his work as a documentary filmmaker. Across both filmmaking and writing, Sharma focuses on real stories and the people behind them, with a particular interest in subjects that reveal lesser-known sides of places, communities and society.
