Biography

Jon Augustavo is a film director, born and raised in Seattle, WA. He became interested in production and directing at an early age, filming and editing numerous home videos for his family and friends. He graduated from Washington State University's Murrow College of Communication in 2006.

After college, Augustavo began making music videos for local Seattle musicians before deciding to pursue a full-time career in film production, cinematography and directing. He later enrolled in graduate school at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA.

Jon received 3 MTV Video Music Awards for his work with Seattle rapper Macklemore. His videos for "Same Love," and "Can't Hold Us," took home the accolades for Best Hip Hop Video, Best Cinematography and Best Video with a Social Message.
