Biography

Pattie Maie Menzies was born on March 2, 1899 in Alexandra, Victoria, Australia. She was married to Robert Gordon Menzies. She died on August 30, 1995 in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia.

She was made a Dame Grand Cross of the Order of the British Empire in the Civil Division in the 1954 New Year's honors for years of hospital work in visiting, addressing and encouraging thousands of women in every state of Australia and for representation of Australia overseas a number of times.

She is buried in Melbourne General Cemetery in Parkville, Victoria, Australia.
