Gabriel Burrafato is a two-time BroadwayWorld Award-winning actor whose career spans Broadway, major network television, and global streaming platforms. Known for his versatility, charisma, and commanding screen presence, Gabriel has built a reputation for seamlessly moving between drama, comedy, and character-driven roles across stage and screen.
He launched his professional career on Broadway in the original company of Bombay Dreams, produced by Andrew Lloyd Webber, before headlining acclaimed national tours, including Camelot as Lancelot and Harold Prince's celebrated revival of Evita as Magaldi. Gabriel gained international recognition when he originated the role of Legolas in the $30-million world premiere production of The Lord of the Rings, directed by Tony Award-winning director Matthew Warchus. He later captivated audiences in Las Vegas as Dean Martin in the long-running hit Vegas! The Show at Planet Hollywood.
On screen, Gabriel has appeared in a diverse range of acclaimed television productions and streaming hits. Audiences may recognize him from CBS's Boston Blue and the season premiere of the iconic franchise NCIS, as well as Netflix's acclaimed series The Lincoln Lawyer and From Scratch. He has also appeared on the hit comedy Young Sheldon and Nickelodeon's Danger Force. Most recently, Gabriel stars opposite Brooke Shields and Tom Cavanagh as Norman Baights in Acorn TV's record-breaking comedy series You're Killing Me, which became the platform's most successful series launch to date.
Gabriel's foundation was forged through some of the industry's most respected training grounds. He began as an apprentice actor at Canada's renowned Shaw Festival, further honed his craft at the Stratford Festival, and studied classical voice at Toronto's Royal Conservatory of Music. Throughout his career, he has had the rare privilege of working alongside and learning from some of the entertainment world's most influential artists, including Andrew Lloyd Webber, Academy Award-winning composer A. R. Rahman, legendary director Harold Prince, and Tony Award-winning director Matthew Warchus.
Equally accomplished in comedy and drama, Gabriel expanded his training at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Los Angeles and performed with both Sin City Improv and Channel 101, developing the improvisational skills and adaptability that have become hallmarks of his work.
Fluent in English, Spanish, Italian, and conversational French, Gabriel brings a unique international perspective and cultural authenticity to his performances.
