Biography

Darren Kennedy is an Irish TV host and broadcaster. He's known for hosting ITV's "Celebrity Closets", "This Morning", "The Unemployables", and is part of the presenting team on BBC One's Primetime "You Are What You Wear". Kennedy was a celebrity contestant on "Dancing With The Stars" in Ireland.

With a background in unscripted development he has created shows such as "The Unemployables", "Like A Virgin", "The Secret Life of Celebrity Pets" and his hit podcast "The Number".

His documentary "Gay Daddy", which he developed and authored, was broadcast to critical acclaim, trending world-wide on Twitter and described as a watershed moment in Irish TV history. His series, "The Unemployables," which he co-devised as well as hosted, was nominated for best new TV format at the European Broadcasting Union Awards.

An entrepreneur, 2018 saw him develop and launch the award-winning grooming range of products "Kennedy & Co".

Kennedy is a Contributing Editor to Sunday Independent where he writes a weekly column on home interiors and is Men's Editor at Beverly Hills Lifestyle magazine. He holds a first-class honors degree in International Business & Languages and speaks fluent French and conversational Spanish and Portuguese.
