Born in Montreal, Qc, Canada.
John has always been fascinated by the influence of light and reflection on the human eye. Ever since receiving an optical illusions kit as a child, film has inspired him. He began to see the cinematic arts as a career after filming his first short. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from McGill University and a Masters in Filmmaking from The London Film School.
