Karen Travers is known for KETV of Omaha News at 10 PM (1978), ABC World News Now (1994) and World News Tonight with David Muir (1953). She has been married to John Millies Anderson since September 10, 2011.

Daughter of Bernadette M. Travers and William J. Travers of Blue Bell, Pennsylvania; daughter-in-law of Debra S. Anderson and Paul J. Anderson of Downers Grove, Illinois.

She graduated from Georgetown University in Washington D.C. with a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Liberal Studies.
