Biography

From his infant seat at 8 months bopping his head to a Philly radio station, to his high school drumline days, to choreographing for megastar Beyonce Knowles, Sean Bankhead has had his touch on the rhythm of his life from the beginning.

Music has always been the blood that pumps in Sean Bankhead's veins and through his heart. He has always been inspired by great musicians from Michael Jackson to Sade to Missy Elliott, and dreamt that his talents would be as influential as those artists are to the world.

Sean has always created his own lane and has always had an entrepreneurial heart. After his first dance video uploaded to YouTube in 2006, which had over 1.5 million views, Sean noticed he could inspire other dancers with his talent and gift for dance and choreography. Music speaks to all ages, races and cultures and Sean's vision has always been to have his work recognized and enjoyed like the lyrics of a great song. He wants the world to know his "groove" to whatever song he's worked on, which we are all familiar with Sean's viral grooves such as Migos BET Hip Hop Awards Performance "Too Hotty" Challenge and STAR on Fox's "Bossy" Challenge with Keke Palmer.

Sean's ambition, talent, and skill had allowed him to expand his repertoire to work with talents such as Beyonce Knowles, Britney Spears, Diddy, Miley Cyrus, Donna Summer, Drake, and Fifth Harmony, and now is credibly known for his recent choreography for Missy Elliott, Fifth Harmony's Normani Kordei, Lee Daniel's STAR on Fox, and Lena Waithe and Halle Berry's Boomerang on BET.

Sean is known to be instrumental in building new artists with his creative movement and direction seen in the careers of OMG Girls, Fifth Harmony, and now Normani, all the way to now choreographing for the Queen of creative visuals Missy Elliott. Sean continues to push the limit of going over and beyond of what is "in the now" but instead "creates the now" as he continues his journey as a Choreographer/Creative Director, Director, and Entrepreneur.
