- Born in South East London, British-American actress Gillian Saker started her career at the Royal Court Theatre in London in Jez Butterworth's 'The River', and has since built an impressive resume on both stage and screen on both sides of the Atlantic. Gillian had a stutter from childhood into her late teens and fell into performing through speech therapy.
